WHAT YOU’LL DO: Support the Creative Director’s vision through the design of large-scale game systems that maximize engagement, revenue, and retention Mentor junior designers and help review their work Play all competitive games, understand their successes and failures, to help ensure our games are the best ones on the market Work with the team to brainstorm new ideas Run play tests and use the team’s feedback for the continual improvement our games Works with the Lead Producers and developers to define, plan, and iterate game features to a high quality standard Write documents that effectively communicate game features requirements to all team members Analyze game metrics/feedback and make design decisions based upon them. Have broad knowledge in various aspects of game design such as system design, narration, economy balance, UI design, etc WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: A passion for games 3+ years working on free-to-play games as a designer/producer Strong understanding of game design concepts and principles At least CET-4 and prefer CET-6; business understanding of English and Chinese, both the written and spoken language Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability Experience writing game system specifications Outstanding written and oral communication skills BA/BS degree from an excellent university A hunger for knowledge and experience and a drive to launch the best product possible
